About the role

We are seeking a proactive and organized Coordinator – Mobile Maintenance Planning to support the execution of short-term maintenance activities for mobile equipment. The Coordinator plays a key role during maintenance execution, acting as the essential link between planning and on‑site operations. This role is responsible for developing and managing weekly and biweekly maintenance schedules, ensuring operational readiness, and acting as the key liaison between planning and field execution. The Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring maintenance compliance, coordinating resources, and driving continuous improvement to support asset reliability and availability.

• Develop and execute weekly and biweekly maintenance schedules based on the long‑term plans prepared by the Maintenance Planner.
• Ensure compliance during maintenance execution by coordinating technicians, materials, and operations.
• Coordinate with technicians, warehouse, and operations to ensure readiness and timely execution of maintenance tasks.
• Provide weekly schedules to the warehouse to support kitting requirements and staging of required parts.
• Spot‑check kitting areas to ensure good organization and condition; communicate improvement needs or feedback to the Senior Planner.
• Monitor compliance with maintenance plans and highlight any non‑compliance scenarios, providing feedback to improve future planning and execution.
• Act as the primary link between planning and field execution, providing real‑time updates and feedback to enhance plan accuracy and efficiency.
• Facilitate collaboration between operations and maintenance teams to align priorities and ensure asset reliability and safety.
• Support collaboration between departments to strengthen reliability, availability, and safety of mobile assets.
• Organize and lead meetings as needed to align work scopes and schedules.
• Participate in parts meetings to identify and prioritize required components and support the identification of critical parts when necessary.
• Monitor and track reservations and purchase orders to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Complete direct charge purchase orders when necessary, with approval from the Technical Advisor.
• Contribute to the tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Adapt to new tasks when required to support the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of all mobile assets.

Training & Experience

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance coordination or planning, preferably in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS platforms (SAP experience is an asset).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

• Eleonore mine site (fly‑in, fly‑out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn‑Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)
• Schedule: 8 working days followed by 6 days off
