Description

Key position functions include:

Responsible for coordinating recruitment and selection activity, including advertising, screening resumes, interviewing, checking references and offers of employment.
Utilize the applicant tracking system to regularly monitor and update the status of advertised positions.
Coordinate and conduct prescreens, inperson, and virtual interviews.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify human resources talent needs.
Coordinate orientation and onboarding activities, and further develop program to best assimilate new employees.
Liaise with external recruitment agencies as required.
Perform other related projects/duties as assigned.
Two years' experience in an HR Recruiter or HR Advisor role preferred.
Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Deep understanding of recruitment strategies and familiarity with sourcing through industryleading sourcing tools.
Knowledge of relevant employment standards and human rights legislation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Motivated and efficient selfstarter with positive "can do" attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Hight attention to detail and accuracy.
HRIS experience would be as asset (UKG preferred).
