The Connect Behaviour approach is informed by multiple schools of knowledge.
Attachment Theory, Neuro-sequential Model, Trauma Informed Practice, and Intersectionality inform our practice of providing coaching, strategies, and tools that enable families to build healthy and reciprocal relationships.
We uphold the dignity of the child and provide them with an environment that allows for agency over their decisions while accounting for safety.
Allowing for natural and logical consequences to guide learning, and building a healthy understanding of limits and relationships.We address and support the skills of the entire family with the emphasis that skillful and well supported families raise thriving children.
Role:
Each child/ family becomes part of a Multi-Disciplinary Instructional Team consisting of SLP, OT, PT, Psychologist, Behaviour Specialist, Family Coach and Coordinator.
We offer a variety of programming options including individualized and small groups, as well as opportunities for team collaboration and coaching.
Speech-language pathologists work collaboratively to plan and deliver programming, working with the families to achieve goals that will allow them to move to a dynamic that allows for growth, self-determination, and agency.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working with a supportive, progressive multidisciplinary team
- Assessment and programming for children with a variety of needs from years old
- Participation in the development of Individualized Program Plans (IPPs)
- Work collaboratively in our welcoming community of peoplefirst, emotion focused professionals

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 5-40 per week
Salary:
$50.00-$75.00 per hour
