• Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activity
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of activities
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
• Check IDs of customers coming into the pub and VLT area.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods of time

• Experience in loss prevention or asset protection
• Manitoba Security Guard License
• Smart Choice Certification

• Evening shift

• Winnipeg, MB R2M 3T6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
