Job Summary
The Junior Billing Clerk will provide administrative support to the billing team, involving general clerical assignments. They will ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of invoices.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect, sort and file all information needed to calculate customer invoices
  • Verify the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of the final bill
  • Verify the Paperwork (POD) is correct/legible
  • Ensure each customer's specific requirements have been met prior to sending the bill
  • Issue invoices and bills and send them to customer communicating through all forms of contact
  • Utilize various TMS/Customer portal platforms to meet each customer's needs

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in Transportation industry to excel in the role
  • Administration experience related to CSR/Billing
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to be assertive and manage escalated customer interactions
  • Ability to work with and manage confidential information and use independent judgment
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred

  • Experience in Transportation Industry
  • Completion of postsecondary studies in related field
  • Experience working with TMW and Great Plains software
