ContainerWorld is seeking a top-notch Manager for our Logistics and Supply Chain department in Richmond, BC who can assist in executing excellence of logistics core functions to support our Corporate Objectives.

ContainerWorld also operates in Ontario.

Position Type:
Permanent Full-time

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (and/or based on operations requirements)

Location:
Richmond, BC

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience

Position Overview:

This position will lead and manage expectations of all stakeholders involved in lieu of connecting, working with internal departments including but not limited to Documentation, Custom Clearance, Compliance, Provincial Transfer, Import Inbound team to expedite, maintain smooth operational process, improvements in all aspects and support staff.

This includes

Planning, developing, and measuring goals and objectives for the team
Developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance of departmental policies and guidelines
Providing and coordinating staff training and development
Participating in the development of the departmental cost budget

Skills to support success:

5+ years of Supply Chain and Logistics Management experience
A bachelor degree, majoring in transportation, logistics or warehousing
Previous KPI, employee performance management and cost analyst experience

Other essential skills:

Proven analytical thinking skills with an appreciation for strategic impact
Innovating new ideas and improvement existing or new opportunities
Building expert knowledge of our industry and conveying knowledge to the staff
Mentoring and coaching abilities
Advanced knowledge of MS Office for effective analysis, presentations and communication.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
Enjoys a fastpaced environment
A keen eye for details and a drive to resolve issues effectively
