Longawaited Acres/Lach Sod Farms is a family run business operating since 1955. We are the premier mineral sod supplier for Winnipeg & area, serving both the commercial & residential customers.

JOB PROFILE:

Reporting to the Farm Manager, the Sod Harvest Operator is responsible for carrying out day to day tasks in the fields.

The job includes but shall not be restricted to:

Operating & servicing automated sod harvester (Trebro Harvestack & TSR)
Recording daily sod production
Diagnosing & repairing harvester issues

On-job training will be provided - this is a unique piece of equipment that requires extensive training.

*NO EXPERIENCE OR CERTIFICATION NECESSARY*Hours: 55+ per week

Seasonal Full Time (8 months)

Wage is dependent upon experience & qualifications
