WONDERING WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Your role will require you to bring a high standard of planning and coordination to your daily work. These responsibilities will be in your domain.

Review project risk assessments and confirm mitigation plans are adequate.
Monitor project performance and track risk, provide reports on project billings, held time, overrun, delivery, quality, resourcing risks, procedure adherence (controls, timesheets, etc.), and communication issues
Conduct overrun investigations, identify opportunities for cost recovery, and prepare summary reports including financial metrics and lessons learned
Provide operational oversight (review and meeting) of projects or project teams to provide critical review, direction, and mentoring
Support the Operations Department with development of risk management standards, policies, and procedures as they relate to project management
Contribute to the continued improvement of project management standards and best practices
Support and/or lead sensitive issue resolution with clients including changes order management, contractual disputes, and contract negotiations.

THE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

Proven work experience as a Project Management Officer or similar role in a project operations department
Strong leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with dispute resolution
Strong attention to detail and ability to concisely summarize nuanced project issues
Excellent organizational and technical abilities
Strong interpersonal skill and emotional intelligence
Relevant training and/or certifications in project management or a related discipline
Understanding of project contract administration (negotiation, risk identification, and dispute resolution)
