Outbound Supervisor
DESCRIPTION:
Oversee all Outbound related tasks and staff in a ProPack facility
REPORTS TO:
Facility/Ops Manager
DIRECT REPORTS:
All Leads directly associated with Outbound-related tasks
DEPARTMENT:
Order Fulfillment
TIER STATUS:
Level 3: Supervisor
STATUS:
Non-Exempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee all functions of and supervise leads and specialists in tasks directly related to Outbound shipments in both P3PL and ProPack360.

- Picking
- Packing
- Shipping
- Vendor Compliance
- Shipping
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
FACILITY
- Responsible for orders flowing through the facility drive pace and maintain flow of team's work
- Communicate and coordinate with department Supervisors and Facility Manager to ensure flow and throughput of entire operation is optimized
- Identify procedural waste and reduce or eliminate clear roadblocks for your team
- Represent the order Outbound process and area to clients and business contacts
- In absence of Facility/Ops Manager (based on seniority and experience) assume leadership over the facility
STAFF
- Directly oversee staff in Outbound Lead roles (rest of Outbound team indirectly report)
- Make sure staff is adequately trained in their primary function and cross trained in secondary functions within department
- Ensure staff understands and follows client specific processes and special order requirements to optimize client satisfaction
- Manager Outbound team schedules, attendance, and requests for time off
- Ensure adequate staff levels to maintain order throughput
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure their staffing needs are met; work permitting
- Prepare and deliver yearly performance evaluations and nonscheduled performance plans
CLIENTS
- Communicate with clients on outboundrelated topics when requested by Management
- Oversee that team facilitates any compliancerelated order tasks
- Ensure that all special client requests and projects have appropriate charges

- Work with Facility Manager to hire, train and develop Outbound specialists and leads

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Efficient flow and throughput management skills
- Ability to communicate to and listen effectively when relating to coworkers, administration and clients
- Highly detail oriented maintain integrity of processes and special order instructions carrier out by team
- Team and workflow organizational and time management skills
- Good problem solving ability
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Handson experience in order release, picking, packing and shipping (order fulfillment functions)
- Project management experience
- Good understanding of metrics and reporting
- Customer service and/or client management experience
- Good communication and presentation skills

- All committed orders shipped on a daily basis ontime, accurate, and safe
- Lead regular team standup meetings, and participate and contribute to facility and corporate meetings as requested

SCHEDULE:
- Monday
- Friday 8 am4:30 pm
WAGE:
$25-$30 Negotiable. Depending on experience.
Job Types:
