    1.0GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the Technical / Mold Manager to complete preventative maintenance of the molds and assist in mold changes/setup as required. 2.0QUALIFICATIONS
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum three years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must have thorough knowledge of the operations of molds and injection machines pertaining to the ability to do full part to full part set-ups.
    • Must be knowledgeable in the use of measuring tools (micrometer, vernier)
    • Highly motivated, organized and detailed oriented with the ability to work independently.
    • Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, safety labels and procedure manuals written in English.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
    • Ability to perform physical duties requiring average strength, including manual lifting and working in tight quarters.
    3.0SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Perform daily preventative mold maintenance for molds running in machines, keeping records in Hippo.
    • Must maintain complete mold change, mold set-up, and prevention maintenance records through our mold PM program, keeping accurate records in Hippo.
    • Must complete all aspects of full part to full part mold changes with continually thinking about improving mold change items.
    • Must convey accurate information to the Mold Manager on the overall operations of the molds and set-ups and be able to come up with problem solving ideas for any problem that may arise.
    • Must perform all aspects of mold pre-inspections, preventative maintenance, shimming and shipments to corporate standards.
    • Must be knowledgeable in the working and installation of auxiliary equipment.
    • Must perform any other tasks as directed by the Dept. Manager.

    4.0 Safety
    • Works in a safe manner according to Occupational Health and Safety Act and Mauser Policies and Procedures.
    • Responsible to bring forward with continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Accountable to identify and bring forward to Mold Manager improvement opportunities.
    Working hours:
    • Monday - Friday
    • 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm / with on call weekends
    • Training to be completed on day shift
