Community Apothecary is an independent pharmacy with a hard-working, low-stress environment.

We work collaboratively in an inter-professional model with a multi-disciplinary team including Nurses, Social Workers, Family Doctors, Mental Health Workers, and Community Mental Health Teams.

Community Apothecary is seeking a part-time/casual Delivery Pharmacy Assistant to join our caring, passionate, and fun team.

Your role will primarily involve delivering medications from the pharmacy (located in Burnaby, BC) to various Assisted Living Facilities and Primary Practice Clinics in the Downtown Eastside (DTES) of Vancouver, BC.

Hours for this position are 6 am - 10 am.


Duties:

- organize and prepare delivery items in store
- deliver items from pharmacy to various secure locations and personnel
- retrieve items from these locations for return to the pharmacy
- maintain the chain of custody of prescriptions
- sort and process returned items in the pharmacy

Additional requirements:

  • Clean working vehicle
  • Valid BC Driver's Licence
  • Comfort with traveling throughout the DTES

Job Types:

Pay:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
