Accounting Analyst - Levis, Canada - American Iron and Metal

Description

• Ensure accurate accounting of the region under your responsibility
• Develop and maintain financial planning activities (objectives/budgets)
• Prepare and present financial statements
• Work closely with business unit (BU) partners to understand their business, help them understand their financial drivers, and challenge their assumptions
• Perform tasks related to month-end/year-end closing
• Participate in various continuous improvement projects in order to optimize processes and reduce the cycle time of producing financial information
• Develop and prepare various value-added financial analyses

• University degree in accounting or finance.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Autonomy, attention to detail, analytical skills, and a sense of responsibility.
• Bilingual French/English
• Experience with reporting tools (Cognos, Power BI)
• At least three years of accounting experience.
