Job Summary
The Accounting Clerk-Patient Representative follows the patient account, from admission through to collection of payment.
Skills & Abilities

Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
Demonstrated problem assessment skills
Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
Demonstrated individual leadership skills

Qualifications:

Minimum Grade 12 education
Computerized accounting and Accounts Receivable experience, within last 5 years
Cash handling experience, within last 5 years
Account reconciliation experience, within last 5 years in a hospital preferred
Able to deal well with a wide variety of people and situations.
Selfstarter and work independently with strong attention to details
Deal with large volumes within specific time limitations.
