WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Complete and submit daily paperwork and reports
  • General labour in road construction activities
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude when working with other employees
  • Organize and clean yard and other workspaces when required
  • Load & unload building materials and equipment as needed
  • Attend and participate in all safety meetings and abide by safety policies
  • Provide daily labour support as directed
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Experience with basic power and construction tool
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working on road construction crew an asset
  • Be in good physical condition to, at times, lift items of 50 lbs.
  • Be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time as well as kneel
  • Valid class 5 driver's license or higher (required)
  • Be available to work 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) with some weekends as required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, to work well with others, to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
