The opportunity
At WSP, we are looking for a Seasoned Business Analyst to join our Information management team.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for multiple technologies projects.

In parallel to these activities, you will also provide business analysis expertise in various business processes and system integrations across the organization, including among others, the implementation of interfaces between systems, workflows, electronic forms, and dashboards.

A day in the life:


  • Work closely with business representatives to understand their processes and technological requirements.
  • Document the current state and future state with stakeholders, including the definition of project scope, costbenefit analysis, and risk factors.
  • Document functional and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Work with solution architects and developers to design and implement business solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between developers and business product owners.
  • Conduct proof of concept sessions with the business to demonstrate the feasibility of the solution.
  • Create and perform UAT activities with endusers.
  • Document the endtoend solutions and assist in the change management activities.
  • Deliver formal and informal training to endusers of different solutions and technologies.
  • Provide operational support and troubleshooting on Information Management Systems, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerBI, and Forms.

What you'll bring to WSP...

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, process design, process automation, and testing.
  • 4+ years of experience with Power Apps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Sharepoint, and Teams Office365 tools.
  • Experience in agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience writing business and technical requirements documents, software design specification documents, and proposals.
  • Experience to drive the implementation of complex solutions with internal and external customers.
  • Experience conducting discovery and training sessions with business representatives.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into Office365 solutions.
  • Liaise effectively with business analysts, solution architects, and developers to facilitate the development and implementation of business solutions.
