    SECOND OFFICER/RELIEF CHIEF OFFICER

    We are seeking a highly motivated, Second Officer, Relief Chief Officer to fill a Regular position at Swartz Bay.

    In this position, you will stand a watch as the Navigating Officer of the vessel. You have considerable knowledge of applicable navigating equipment and techniques and corporate policies and procedures applicable to the position. You are very familiar with international, federal and provincial regulations applicable to the position, safety and emergency procedures, and knowledge of ship handling principles, stability, seamanship, and deck maintenance.

    As duties will vary depending on business requirements, a flexible attitude is essential. You are extremely safety-conscious. You hold a valid Chief Mate, Near Coastal Certificate or higher and Valid Seafarer's Medical certificate.
