Production Clerk

The Production Clerk position is responsible for assisting the Plant Manager with coordination of our Lean Production System and our 5S Program.

They are meticulous with following up with relevant personnel related to production programs and policies.

Inputting data to compute machine and production efficiency, auditing the shop floor and compiling worksheets to track production are required.

Performance Expectations

Work in collaboration with Maintenance and Production to implement the TPM system.
Perform monthly audits of 5S.
Manage the lean suggestion process to help facility achieve continuous improvement goals.
Input data to calculate production lines rate for Performance Incentives.
Compile detailed worksheets to assist in production tracking.
Prepare and maintain various reports on the progress of work, rates of production and other production information.
Track and maintain proper and complete daily log reports on discrepancies for resolutions.
Analyze production statistics drawing conclusions about efficiency of production.

Credentials

High School Diploma or equivalent general education and previous work experience.
Exposure to a Manufacturing environment is an asset.

Desired Characteristics

Possess strong problem solving skills.
Able to communicate with coworkers discussing various project and production activities
Ability to work independently within a team environment.
