Packaging Processor

Full-time, Temporary 6 months

Site : 1270 Aberdeen St, Hawkesbury, Ontario

Responsibilities:


  • Must be able to commute daily to our Facility in Hawkesbury, Ontario**_
  • Packaging construction and organization.
  • Must evaluate any shortages and contact Supervisor daily.
  • Must control any damaged or incorrect packaging and have such items returned and repaired.
  • May lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedures.
  • Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
  • Follow current standards and procedures.
  • Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
  • Perform pick ups and drop off's at various location using company Vehicle
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous packaging experience an asset (can train).
  • Good driving record
  • Use of standard wood working tool such as table saw and nail gun
  • Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
  • Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision; must be selfdirected.

Note:


  • Overtime as required.
  • Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.

Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
