Position Overview

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Participate and advocate in a zero harm safety culture and all Health, Safety, Environment and Security programs within the Burgundy Diamond Mines Company;
  • Work within a team setting and receive instruction on carpentry tasks and safe work procedures;
  • Gain experience both on the job and complete technical training school sessions;
  • Always protect the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your coworkers. Follow all Company specific safety protocols and Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures;
  • Work with other trades in a flexible team environment to achieve bestinclass efficiency and productivity.

Education/Experience

  • Ability to complete a Trades Entrance level exam;
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred;
  • Experience in an industrial setting, preferably mining or a construction background;
  • Selfmotivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
