- Day to day interaction of other plant employees, report absences and other personnel issues to Production Manager.
- Complete required paperwork and reports as needed.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety, environmental, employment, management, and other company policies.
- Verify each load for volume, mix, added products and all other quality information.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Receive and inspect raw materials.
- Keep required records and logs.
- Perform routine maintenance and oversee the cleaning of the concrete plant.
- Monitor inventories in the plant (cement, fly ash, admixtures and aggregates).
- Adjusts batching weights and quantities as necessary to maintain specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Safe Driver Record.
- Concrete Mixer Truck driving experience an asset.
- An understanding of concrete products an asset.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must have good mathematical skills
- Experience in the operation of a batch plant preferred
- Intermediate computer experience
- Ability to successfully pass our pre-employment testing.
