    BURNCO is currently hiring a Batch Plant Supervisor for our portable project in Northern Saskatchewan. This 18 month project is a great opportunity for an individual interested in a camp position working on rotation.     What You Will Be Doing

    • Day to day interaction of other plant employees, report absences and other personnel issues to Production Manager.
    • Complete required paperwork and reports as needed.
    • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety, environmental, employment, management, and other company policies.
    • Verify each load for volume, mix, added products and all other quality information.
    • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Receive and inspect raw materials.
    • Keep required records and logs.
    • Perform routine maintenance and oversee the cleaning of the concrete plant.
    • Monitor inventories in the plant (cement, fly ash, admixtures and aggregates).
    • Adjusts batching weights and quantities as necessary to maintain specifications.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What We Need from You

    • Safe Driver Record.
    • Concrete Mixer Truck driving experience an asset.
    • An understanding of concrete products an asset.
    • Must be mechanically inclined.
    • Must have good mathematical skills
    • Experience in the operation of a batch plant preferred
    • Intermediate computer experience
    • Ability to successfully pass our pre-employment testing.

    IMPORTANT: As a safety sensitive position, it is a condition of employment that selected candidate successfully pass comprehensive pre-employment testing that includes a Drug and Alcohol screen and Fitness to Work testing. Please note that we have a zero-tolerance policy for any Cannabis derived products regardless of use frequency or purpose.
