- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks related to Maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- General Maintenance work including preventative maintenance tasks
- Renovate or upgrade electrical systems to meet current codes and standards
- Must be fluent in verbal and written English
- Experience with PLCs and other automation equipment is an asset
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an asset
- Experience with welding and/or fabrication is an asset
- Experience with automotive or small engine maintenance is an asset

Our Surrey location is the headquarters of our Manufacturing Operation. We extrude Polyethylene tubing for potable water and radiant heating applications. We are looking to expand our Maintenance Team by adding a Journeyman Electrician.We are looking for an electrician that has experience in working with production equipment or other large equipment.
This role would include work that is considered general maintenance such as working on forklifts (greasing, oil changes, and other PM work), welding and fabricating work, and also general problem troubleshooting.
We can consider electrical apprentices, but we are not able to sign off on hours past 3rd year.We can offer an apprenticeship as a Millwright or as a Machinist.
We have a Full Red Seal Millwright running our Maintenance department, and a Full Red Seal Machinist running our Machining department.
It has become more common to have 2-3 trade backgrounds, with the advent of robotics and greater automation. Let us give you that background and training to gain an additional trade for your own career development.Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems in an industrial environment
