SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Valve Technician position is an important role to the Gateway team.

We are looking to add a hard-working individual; eager to learn, and with a positive attitude to join our team.

Our shop technicians play a vital role in providing the best service and expertise to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate hand tools and powered hands tools.
Perform work safely and diligently follow checklists, policies, processes & procedures.
Complete appropriate paperwork for incoming/outgoing jobs
Work with varying materials/ equipment indoors and outdoors
Perform general shop tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Perform general shop housekeeping duties.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and overtime to meet deadlines.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Prior Forklift Operator experience is an asset, but not required.
Minimum Grade 12 Education | Prior experience is an asset, but not required.
Permanent resident of Canada
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, problemsolving and attention to detail.
Valid driver's licence
Able to deal with changes, delays, or unexpected events in a professional & timely manner.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Eager to work and learn new skills.
