    Business Development Manager

    We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Agilus Work Solutions in the Steel industry. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners, driving new business growth for our company.

    About the Role

    • Develop and Execute Business Plans: Create and implement comprehensive business development plans aligned with our company's objectives.
    • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, leveraging your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Market Research: Conduct research on potential customers, market trends, and industry developments to inform our business strategies.
    • Event Planning: Organize and participate in customer entertainment activities, which may include events outside of regular business hours.
    • Pricing and Inventory Management: Evaluate pricing feedback and investing opportunities, while working closely with supply chain and sales teams to ensure alignment on business development strategies.

    Requirements

    • Experience: 6+ years of prior industry-related business development experience in steel, metal, carbon, aluminum, oil and gas industries.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
    • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies, organizational and planning skills, and ability to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously.
    • Personal Qualities: Energetic, family-oriented individual comfortable doing cold calls and walk-ins, with flexibility for local and non-local travel.
