Our Bolton location is looking to hire a Full Time
Receiver.

United Lumber Home Hardware requires an experienced, knowledgeable, motivated and career-minded Receiver to ensure the accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments.

Job Duties

The Receiver must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting.
Inspection of incoming shipments to verify contents and quality.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency of incoming items for integrity and inventory management
Computer functions to process receiving information into the POS system
Communicate with Yard and Store departments regarding product locations and stocking needs
Vendor relations with shipping companies are essential.

Qualifications:

Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role
Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Basic mathematical skills.
Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
