As our innovative business grows rapidly, we are seeking a full-time Order Assembler at our Richmond location.

Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor, the Order Assembler is responsible for picking, packing, assembling and sorting all outgoing frozen/fresh products distributed to all customers.

If you can work in a cold-freezer, fast-paced environment and work under pressure with mínimal supervision, we would love to hear from you

$600 retention bonus after four months and another $600 retention bonus after 8 months (new hire only)
Duties & Responsibilities- Organize load sheets and orders going out daily- Organize work area/set up- Prioritize and assemble orders - understanding the flow of order departure- Check production dates, and quality of product before assembling- Assist other departments, such as receiving and freezer, with various tasks- Utilize Canopy to ensure orders are filled, and quantities are correct- Transfer products from different warehouses or to different codes- Create labels, fill manifest, prepare orders for shipping- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Basic labelmaking & computer skills
Completion of at least secondary education
Forklift/Reach truck experience/certification is an asset
RF scanning knowledge is an asset
Food safety knowledge is an asset
Canopy program knowledge is a benefit
Selfstarter, has initiative, adaptable and able to work with a diverse, multicultural workforce
Comfortable working in a cooler and freezer (5090%) environment
Commitment to Food Safety by adhering to HACCP and CFIA hygiene rules / sanitary work practices
Hours: Monday to Friday; start time can be from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
