Description

Larco Hospitality is looking for 1 full-time Assistant Controller for Vancouver Airport Marriott Hotel and Hilton Vancouver Airport Hotel.

The individual will report directly to the Director of Finance and will provide General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Operational and clerical support to the Accounting and Finance functions of the hotel.

Responsibilities

Perform the daytoday duties in finance and accounting at the hotel including cash handling, receivables, payables and inventory
Assist in the preparation of periodic forecast and annual budgets
Assist in the preparation of complete financial and management reports, including variance explanations, as required on a timely basis.
Maintain and review internal control policies and procedures of the hotel
Assist in the review and update of various Finance and Operations Policies and Procedures
Protect the owner's interests in the hotel assets and operations
Assist the Operations team when needed
Attend Manager's meetings regularly
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.

Requirements:

Minimum of three years recent, related hotel accounting management experience required
Professional accounting designation or actively working towards a designation (CPA)
Highly motivated, a selfstarter and team player in a fastpaced environment
Extremely well organized and accurate with superb attention to detail
Professional, personable and conscientious
