Responsibilities:
Reporting to the QA Development Director;
- You will identify resourcing needs, guide and develop changes to talent, skills and practices to accomplish operational and strategic goals.
- You will manage the professional development of team members, establish goals with team members based on their personal development plans and organize onetoone meetings
- You will manage performance and conduct annual reviews together with peers and management;
- You will collaborate and help create the Quality Plan; establish a project budget, forecast a staff plan, communication plan and an overall test strategy.
- You will formulate strong relationships within the QA team and Frostbite domain leaders.
- You will communicate issues, risks, concerns, and successes to partners/leaders.
- You will be directly involved in recruiting and onboarding the team members,
Experience:
- You have 2+ years Project Management or Project Coordination experience.
- You have 1+ years People Management experience
- You can demonstrate a knowledge of software development processes, change management, and process improvement.
- You always know the status of your project and can share that information with any audience
- BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
- BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs.
Victoria):
o $77,600 - $130,500 CAN Annually
- Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid topup to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular fulltime employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
