We're looking for values-driven enthusiastic volunteers to help us in our quest to continue building healthy communities.

Nature & Scope:
This basketball league aims to promote active participation in a fun and respectful setting.

You will assist in teaching children/youth the fundamental skills including movement, agility, balance, coordination, and court awareness through practices and games.

Location: 410 Rebecca Street, Oakville

Schedule:
September 21 to December 10, 202- Thursday Practices from 6pm to 8pm

Sunday Games from 12pm to 2pm

Responsibilities:

Teach players the rules and regulations of basketball
Lead, supervise and promote safe play
Create effective drills and practices that prepares players for games
Identify each players individual learning needs and develop a plan for success
Evaluate athletes progress and discuss the results with parents

Requirements:

Have experience playing competitive or High School basketball and/or general overall knowledge of the sport
Have good communication skills and ability to navigate various skill levels
Experience working with children aged 81
Commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week for the entire 13week season
Must have a clear security clearance with vulnerable sector screening (waiver under 18 years of age)
