Position Summary:

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

- assisting students in the Interactions Program
- supporting students who have behavioural and physical/medical needs and autism
- assisting students with social skills, behaviour expectations, self-regulation and academic activities
- utilizing assistive technologies to support student success
- assisting students with personal care including toileting

Education/Qualifications:

- a diploma in a related field
- a minimum of one year of related experience working in an inclusive classroom environment
- experience working with and providing interventions to students who are on the autism spectrum
- experience supporting students who have emotional and/or behavioural challenges and physical/medical disabilities
