Summary:


Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Labourer is responsible for operating hand and power tools, complete necessary paperwork, work with forming equipment and read and interpret blueprints.

Job Duties

  • Operation of hand and power tools
  • Completion of work orders and other paperwork
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Minimum high school diploma or recognized equivalent education is preferred
  • Related trade certificate from a recognized postsecondary institute is beneficial
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to learn forming equipment
  • Combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • 02 years' experience
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Mechanical aptitude

Work Conditions

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steeltoed safety boots, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.
  • Overtime as required.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

  • Regina, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
