Our Store Managers support with managing the day-to-day operations including staff, ordering, catering fulfillments, and other duties as required. They have an eye for detail and know their products well.

They are thorough in everything they do, always available to help when needed, and they provide good leadership that sets the tone of how things should be done.


  • Duties and Responsibilities _

Leadership

  • Models and provides excellent hospitality while demonstrating in depth product knowledge.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills to create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Motivates, directs, inspires, and cultivates a positive team culture to exceed service expectations even in extreme or unusual conditions.
  • Solicits and embraces feedback from team and guests to maintain or improve their business.
  • Delegates responsibilities, assigns stations, and tasks lists to working team members to ensure a successful service.
  • Holds themselves and all team members accountable to company policies, standards, and procedures; coaches appropriately as needed.
  • Trains, motivates, and coaches employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to guests.
  • Consistent with coaching team members as needed to provide inrealtime feedback and correct behaviour issues.
  • Responsible for training new staff, assessing performance along the way, and coaching staff on an ongoing basis to ensure they are maintaining company standards.
  • Participates in open and clear communication with all other managers and team members.
  • Ensures standards for hospitality continually exceed guest expectations and are consistently advocated and delivered.
  • Fosters a learning environment for both employees and guests, where product expertise and storytelling is paramount.

  • Safeguards and enforces all health and safety practices and ensures all health and safety documentation is current and available to all team members.

Quality Control

  • Dedicated to producing and preserving a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Indepth understanding of preparing recipes to elevate procedures, standards, and quality.
  • Understands guest needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
  • Maintains a clean, tidy business, and sanitary work environment.
  • Completes regular cleanliness checks and actions opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Ensures the storefront is clean, organized, and to company standards always, including store signage.
  • Zealously guards the health and safety of our guests and staff.
  • Communicates, promotes, and speaks in "we" language when executing change to organizational direction.
  • Consistently checks ingredient quality with proper dating of best before dates and first in, first out procedures.
  • Ensures the service line is set up on time, clean, fully stocked, and ingredients are to quality standards for all service times.
  • Adheres to company policies with regards to quality and consistency of products.
  • Manages and assists team members with expediting of all orders and delegating as needed among the service stations.

Financial Acumen

  • Works with the DOO to support store operations and ensure budgets are in line with organization goals and sales objectives.
  • Seeks to improve the overall financial health of the organization when making operational decisions.
  • Actively manages store costs: inventory, labour, purchasing, waste, and maintenance.
  • Detail focused when forecasting needs to fulfill orders and maintain reasonable stock levels.
  • Orders location products strategically to maximize product sales and limit waste.
  • Accurately completes and submits invoices and records by their assigned deadlines.
  • Develops and maintains systematized record keeping systems to ensure records and documents are well organized, kept up to date, and treated with an appropriate level of confidentiality where required.
  • Monitors and approves employee timecards, and performance manages staff for tardiness/punctuality.
  • Proactively ensures the store interior, exterior, and equipment are exceptionally clean, well maintained, and in good repair.
  • Troubleshoots malfunctioning equipment, with a commitment to ensuring safe practices for both staff and customers, and contacts repair services directly to schedule maintenance.
  • Establishes and maintains good relationships with external contractors, suppliers, and representatives.
  • Committed to driving financial results through successful execution of new, or changing, corporate objectives.
  • Drives and tracks results through efficiency and execution of systems.
  • Completes daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts as assigned.
