We are hiring a Director of Finance to manage our Finance team and support the organization in operational excellence and growth initiatives.

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Director of Finance has strong technical skills, is responsible to oversee all finance functions, and is a key member of our senior leadership team.

This is a full-time permanent position in a hybrid environment of home and in-office based in our Mississauga location.


What you'll be doing:
Financial Management

Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements on a timely basis and provide a comprehensive analysis of revenue, cost, and margin variances to all stakeholders.

Lead the annual budgeting process and work with the VP of Finance to develop financial benchmarks for acceptable performance.

Manage the finance department including all activities related to financial accounting, payroll, and general office management such as purchasing, payroll, invoicing collection of accounts receivable, supplier management, month-end, and year-end closing, and day-to-day banking.

Provide comprehensive analysis of new business opportunities and projected impact on organizational results.
Ensure optimization of financial processes and controls.
Be a trusted advisor and partner with all clinical and corporate leaders to support operational excellence.
Oversee and ensure timely completion of the year-end audit.

People Leadership

Coach, develop and inspire finance team members, promoting a positive work culture.
Demonstrate commitment to support organizational goals through collaborating at all levels of the organization.


Skills needed for success:
You hold an accounting designation (CPA) and have strong technical accounting knowledge.
Minimum of 5 years in progressive leadership positions in accounting or financial management.
Strong experience in system development, budgeting and process optimization.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven track record of demonstrating strong integrity, teamwork and character.
