    Position Information Position Title Part-Time Academic: CANA 2002 The Idea of Canada: Cultural and Literary Perspectives - Winter Posting Number PTAP2466P Department/Unit Multidisciplinary Centre Location Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Job Summary & Key Responsibilities Canadian Studies Program/Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences/Dalhousie University

    A part-time academic is required to teach CANA : The Idea of Canada: Cultural and Literary Perspectives, in Winter 2024/25 (January - April, The class is currently scheduled for In-Person instruction on Tuesdays and Thursdays from The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation, and student consultation. The part-time academic reports to the Coordinator of the Canadian Studies program. Qualifications/Requirements of Position Candidates must possess a PhD in a Humanities or Social Sciences discipline with research and teaching experience in Canadian Studies or a closely related field. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate deep knowledge of Canadian history, society and culture.
