Carpenter / Carpenter Helper / Framer - Calgary, Canada - Toller Construction Ltd.

Experience preferred, but not required.

Fluency in reading and writing English is a requirement for this position.

Preference will be given to workers already authorized to work in Canada.


Responsibilities:

• Assist carpenters with various tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
• Read and interpret blueprints to assist with project planning
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery as needed for construction projects
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials and equipment
• Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing, installing windows and doors, and building structures

Skills:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is a plus
• Basic carpentry skills including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials

This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

$22.00-$35.00 per hour
