As our Account Manager - Fire & Life Safety, they will play a critical role in developing and growing our Fire & Life Safety business in the New Brunswick market through customer prospecting, market education, solution support and line development. Some of the additional expectations of this role include:

- Seeking out new business by establishing contact with prospects, scheduling sales calls, and following up on leads;
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with established accounts through regular customer contact to identify customer requirements and potential solutions;
- Preparing proposals, presentations, and financial analysis to support sales activities and enable successful closure of sales;
- Delivering on customer commitments through the highest level of customer service and follow-up to assure timely work execution and product delivery;
- Reporting sales activities and progress, as well as supply metrics to the operational teams on a weekly basis;
- Conducting seminars, demonstrations, etc. to generate, develop, and qualify leads for prospective customers;
- Monitoring market, competitor and customer trends and advise the Business Development Manager accordingly;
- Consulting on external pricing strategies and maintaining internal pricing policies;
- Developing territory plans to grow the company's Fire and Life Safety service and product business;
- Participating in trade shows, product demonstrations and other events to promote awareness of our products and services, increase sales, and enhance the company's image;
- Ensuring safe work practices are followed safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job; and
- Supporting other team members including administrative, operational, and field staff, in the safe, efficient delivery of superior service to our clients.

Given the broad geographic market, product and service lines, excellent time management and organizational skills will be required as well as an ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to address changing situations and priorities. They will bring an ability to work both collaboratively with diverse team members, as well as independently, to deliver high quality service and support to our customers in various markets. Knowledge and use of ERP systems as well as Microsoft Office tools would be an asset. You must also possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to and work out of client sites at varying times of the day and evening based on the client's needs. Overtime and overnight travel will be required; therefore, hours of work/schedule will vary.

**Bilingualism (French and English) is required.**
