Position Summary:

As an active member of an interdisciplinary team your responsibilities include:

Patient/family and team-centred clerical support
Support for patient registration, order entry, documentation, billing and communication related to patient admission, care processes, post-discharge follow-up and community/allied health referrals
Assist with staffing requests, payroll, and other related tasks as assigned
Participate in planning, continuous quality improvement and evaluation
Other related duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

Completion of a clerical/secretarial program or equivalent education
Medical Terminology is a requirement
Experience preferably in a health care environment
Proficiency in computer and keyboarding skills is required
