    Role and Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    The employee is responsible for overseeing financial management activities for the manufacturing team. He supports the manager of master planning and cost management in carrying out the financial activities of his department. He is responsible for improving and implementing processes related to activities related to his duties.

    More specifically:

    Cost management

    • Work closely, proactively and in accordance with best practices with the finance teams and the various business units to ensure alignment of financial profiles.
    • Work with production leaders and planners to synchronize efforts to achieve financial objectives.
    • Support the Manager of Planning & Control and the Master Planning & Cost Management leader to monitor and establish financial strategies and objectives for the manufacturing team.
    • Develop and maintain performance indicators to measure team performance in achieving objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement in financial processes with colleagues.

    Bids

    • Build manufacturing bids (Hours & Material) for upcoming projects and follow them throughout their execution when the contracts materialize, while making sure to apply the expertise acquired during previous projects.
    • Work closely with the engineering department to obtain the requirements for the bids.

    The passionate we are looking for has:

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or administration
    • Be able to write out reports, answer questions and present information to the various stakeholders in the process. (Manager, Group Head, Project Manager, Planners, etc.)
    • At least three to five years of relevant experience or education in the field.
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office.
    • Familiar with an integrated management system, preferably ORACLE
    • Ability to perform duties properly in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and meet deadlines independently.
    • Detailed and excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to identify problems, gather information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
    • Ability to interpret a variety of technical and non-technical instructions and to deal with several concrete and abstract variables at the same time.
    • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
