Restaurant Manager Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team and lead all aspects of our business. We'll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.
Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Maintain highquality food standards.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Develop strategies for improving our customers' dining / takeout experience
- Regularly review product quality
- Work with staff to project future needs for kitchen supplies, goods, and cleaning products.
- Maintain inventory of all needed supplies.
- Identify methods our restaurant can use to cut waste, decrease costs, and improve profits.
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
Restaurant Manager Requirements:
- Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous supervisory experience in the Food & Beverage industry
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Acute financial management skills
- Proven ability to work in a fastpaced setting
- Strong multitasking skills
- The physical ability to remain standing for long periods of time
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Strong managerial skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Restaurant Store management: 1 year (preferred)
