Estimator/Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation and distribution of field documents including:

• Take meeting minutes and site instructions, contemplated changes etc
• Process, distribute and track shop drawings.
• Distribution and tracking of field review and deficiency review reports.
• Prepare and track Request for Information and Request For Change
• Supervise takeoffs & gathering of prices
• Assist with tender submissions and estimating
• Quantity takeoffs as required, obtain & review sub trade pricing
• Meet with owners, architects & engineers
• Work closely with field supervisor
• Preparation of preliminary draws/control job schedule/cost overruns
• Approval of jobs costs & final draw
• Arrange routing and tracking of closeout documents.
• Maintain project schedules through project tracking software
• Ensure accuracy of all site related documents.
• General office/project duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:
Administrative and or project work experience in construction is an asset.
Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project proficiency required.
Experience in Auto CAD/Revit
Demonstrate professional level communication skills.
Strong time management abilities. Not afraid to take initiative.

Detail oriented, highly organized, flexibility in the workplace.


What we offer:

Standard hours are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (additional overtime may be required during busy times), open to discussion.

Education:

• ACET or Skilled Trade Certificate preferred
• Postsecondary degree or diploma preferred

Licence:

• Class G (preferred)

$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
