You have the opportunity to bring in all the key stakeholders into a working group and lead complex initiatives that successfully roll-out on a provincial level as we strive to give each patient the right care, at the right time, in the right place, by the right providers.

    Description:

    The Senior Project Manager is a provincial role, reporting to the Director, Improving Health Outcomes Together (IHOT) within the Quality and Healthcare Improvement (QHI) portfolio. They play an integral role in supporting IHOT in achieving the organizations' quality and safety objectives at both the strategic and provincial levels, as well as at the zone and site operational level. The Senior Project Manager:Builds rapport and professional relationships with medical and operational leadership, subject matter experts, quality improvement, and administrative staff of the program areas / teams with which IHOT partners.Provides leadership, expertise, and hands on project management support as needed through all phases of the project lifecycle in partnership with project teams.Provides consulting expertise in engagement, change management, quality improvement, and design thinking to support the development of specific goals and related actions to achieve results consistent with the Quadruple Aim (better care, better patient experience, better provider experience and better value). Ensures clear communication channels regarding progress updates, key performance indicator reporting, risk escalation, etc. with key partners related to individual projects.Is recognized as a professional expert within the organization and anticipates internal and/or external business challenges, identifies and recommends process or service improvements, and uses a high degree of resourcefulness and independent judgment to determine solutions.

    Required Qualifications:

    A Baccalaureate degree is required.

    Formal training in project and/or change management methodologies an asset (ex: Project Management Professional PMP designation, PROSCI, Lean 6 Sigma, Alberta Improvement Way etc.)Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.Well-developed critical thinking skills.Flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing environments or expectations.Self-directed and able to problem solve.
