Carpenter-Union Position

Responsibilities:


  • Custom deck construction, vertical screens, arbours, trellis, fencing, sheds, pergolas
  • Able to follow specifications and schedules on job sites
  • Read and interpret construction drawings
  • Experience working in both Indoor and outdoor work environments
  • All projects are unique and range in size and completion times
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment and demonstrate hazard awareness at all times

Requirements:


  • 3 years of proven experience in carpentry
Completion of the Carpenter Trade Certification from an accredited

University or College

  • Previous experience working with IPE or similar hardwoods
  • Experience working with hand and power tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic reliable and punctual
  • Able to work indoor and outdoors with change in temperatures
  • Ability to be a visible teamplayer and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to assume responsibility and have a flexible teamplayer attitude
