We are looking for someone who is excited to run with their experiences and creativity who enjoys building teams in a new Human Resources department with their own style
As a Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for providing excellent employee relations services to employees to help them deliver an excellent staff and guest experience.
As Human Resources Manager you will also be required to assist the General Manager with strategy on growth and development for the company including staff transition and expectations.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the gold standards:- Manage employee relations issues in a confidential manner, including disciplinary, grievances, etc.
- Provide a recognition program to identify and reward excellent service behavior and conduct.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Support managers to ensure success of their teams
- Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate referral checks are carried out
- Support all departments with required training from Brand standards and necessary basic training requirements which includes employee orientation programs
- Control costs and assist in meeting department financial targets
- Ensure pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries are managed in line with company guidelines and ESA
- Review all staff 90 /180 / 360 evaluations and assessments with department heads
- ESA fluent
- Ensure completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations and other health and safety legislation
- Experience with WSIB and health and safety protocols
- Review existing policies and keep all documents updated
- Responsible for benefits program management and reconciliation.

- Able to know when to address issues and how to improve the situation immediately by putting in the time to complete it.
- Knowledge of hospitality Industry
- Hotel experience
- IT proficiency
- Excel and Word proficiency

Salary :
$50,000 to $60,000 based on experience and qualifications
