Remote role - can be based from Canada or Europe

About the role


Are you a social media superstar? This is an exciting opportunity to set and kick some big goals around the social media presence of our brands.

As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for building and delivering the Social Media Strategy to boost web traffic, support product awareness and foster a positively engaged social community built on trust and credibility on each of our social media channels.


Working with creative, product, marketing and legal teams to understand the strategic goals at YSI, this position is expected to take ownership of the social media presence of our brands and use your passion for social community-building to engage with our customers.


Area of Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and implement creative content that is bursting with brand personality for social media channels with a view to enhance player experience, engagement, and retention, as well as meet our commercial KPIs and requirements.
  • Use social media scheduling tools to post content that is fresh, timely and aligned with the promotions and product calendar.
  • Enhance player experience by proactively responding to prospective and existing players' publicfacing communications (e.g. Facebook comments, Tweets, etc) in a timely manner.
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with highly engaged players across social media channels.
  • Monitor player activity and undertake regular competitor analysis to understand what resonates with our audience, identify emerging social engagement opportunities and leverage these to produce strong content.
  • Perform daily community moderation and housekeeping to protect our players from fraudulent accounts and activity.
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • User social media analysis tools to analyse and report on key performance metrics.
  • Work both independently and in collaboration with wider promotions and product teams.

Requirements:

What we are looking for...

  • A background in marketing with a minimum of 23 years' experience in Social Media
  • Gaming background an advantage (focus on casino and/or bingo preferred)
  • Full working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.
  • Experience with Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar.
  • Strong creative skills with a flair for fun, engaging written and visual communication
  • Experience managing a social media community
  • Excellent customer relationship skills understanding players' needs and responding in a way that provides the best possible customer experience.
  • Native English level with understanding of North American market.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • A selfstarter who is organised, proactive and keen to grow and expand in the role.
  • Able to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Problemsolving with an enthusiastic, "can do" attitude.
