Job descriptions:

Bookkeeping - performing full-cycle bookkeeping across industries, using QuickBooks Online, Xero and Excel spreadsheets, etc.

Payroll related - performing payroll calculations, using a payroll program and Excel spreadsheets; filing ROE, WSIB and EHT, etc.

Tax - performing various tax filings, including HST, T1, T4, T5, NR4, T1135 information returns, T3 trust returns, and UHT returns, etc.

CRA review of T1 and HST returns - responding to CRA reviews by writing letters and preparing relevant schedules.


Qualifications and Skills:

• An accounting technician with over 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll and taxes in a Canadian CPA firm
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites, QuickBooks Online, and a popular tax software
• Technology savvy in paperless environment
• Deadline driven and willing to work overtime in evenings/weekends during busy season and at request in order to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills for communicating effectively with clients, CRA and colleagues
• Trilingual skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Detailoriented and great attention to accuracy
• Longterm commitment, a fast learner and being able to think beyond what is required

Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
