About the role:


Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing & Communications and collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer, the Marketing & Client Engagement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting KV Capital's marketing and business development initiatives.

This encompasses responsibilities ranging from content creation to supporting roles in strategy implementation, branding, and public relations.


Essential functions:


  • Content creation:_
  • Create, edit, and oversee written content across various marketing channels.
  • Produce multimedia content that adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Ensure all content aligns with industry regulations and standards.
  • Digital marketing:_
  • Contribute to the development and execution of digital marketing strategies.
  • Curate and manage content for KV Capital's social media accounts.
  • Support and optimize paid advertising campaigns.
  • Lead generation + nurturing_
  • Participate in crafting lead generation strategies aligned with KV Capital's vision.
  • Oversee the effective use of marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Program campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement aimed at nurturing leads.
  • Sales enablement:_
  • Generate sales materials that resonate with KV Capital's offerings.
  • Partake in the education of the business development team on the latest marketing materials, ensuring alignment between sales and marketing efforts.
  • Analytics + reporting:_
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on vital marketing KPIs.
  • Compile comprehensive marketing reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Event management:_
  • Plan, coordinate, and revise event project plans.
  • Handle logistics for both internal and external events, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Play a pivotal role in managing sponsorships and partnerships for events.
  • Budget + resource management_
  • Assist in formulating and adhering to the marketing budget.
  • Efficiently allocate resources and collaborate with vendors.
  • Oversee and adjust budgets designated for specific events and campaigns.
  • Stakeholder collaboration:_
  • Engage and collaborate with other departments, ensuring marketing strategies complement broader organizational goals.
  • Consistently communicate marketing updates to the broader company, fostering transparency and alignment.
  • Internal engagement + communication_
  • Organize and execute internal events, promoting team cohesion and boosting morale.
  • Oversee internal communications, ensuring timely dissemination of crucial information and enhancing company culture.

Essential qualifications:


  • Degree in Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication abilities, analytical insight, and a proactive, upbeat attitude. Can independently take the initiative, consult effectively with others, manage pressures, prioritize tasks, and deeply understands our clients' goals and the broader marketplace.
  • Displays poise, tact, professionalism, quality service and a "can do" attitude to internal members/departments of the organization as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and inperson.
  • Ability to identify and understand the sensitive, confidential nature of all types of information and materials and handle with appropriate discretion.
  • A strong understanding of the business community and climate in Edmonton, Calgary and surrounding areas.
  • Reliable, punctual, strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint) and social media/marketing platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience in Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot).
