Job Summary

The Public Health Nurse is a key member of the health care team at Tla'amin Health primarily responsible for promoting and protecting the optimal health well-being and safety for families during all stages of life through universal targeted programming.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in community health nursing theory and practice within a client family-centred model of care.
  • Critical Thinking - Demonstrated ability to assess safety risk prior to entering familiar unfamiliar home environments integrate evaluate pertinent data from multiple sources problem-solve effectively.
