    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented fulltime Administrative Assistant to support our Unexploded Explosive Ordnance (UXO) department in our Fredericton, NB office.

    The successful candidate will have the following:

    Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with timecard and expense entry systems preferred.
  • Main Duties:

    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Manage timecard and expense entries for a high volume of employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Review and carry out Quality Control checks on UXO field reports such as the Daily Operations Reports, Daily Quality Control Reports, Daily Safety Reports, Tailgate Forms, Demolition Forms, etc.
  • Coordinate flight arrangements for employees, including booking flights, hotels, transportation, and managing travel itineraries.
  • Draft and issue employee contracts, ensuring all necessary terms and conditions are included and accurately documented.
  • Confirm and coordinate new hire paperwork and onboarding documents, ensuring all required documents are completed and filed appropriately.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and organizing files.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Adhering to all company policies.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Position:

  • Full time (37.5 hours per week).
