THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities:


  • Designs & conducts experiments, summarizes data from experiments with good lab/manufacturing practice. Communicates results to discuss next steps with senior team members.
  • Develops competencies in standard operating procedures, methodologies, laboratory equipment. Recognizes & shares new approaches/observations to drive improvement.
  • Documents development and experimental results with data integrity. Monitors and records formulation stability and highlights any outofspecs and other unexpected learnings.
  • Builds understanding of category. Stays abreast of developing trends in the Cosmetic field. Shares new ideas/concepts, even from other industries that can be translated into tangible cosmetic products.
  • Plans own work supporting projects, delivering it reliably, punctually, ensuring quality content & sharing learnings.
  • Collaborates with other team members, analytical, micro and toxicology, process development to support establishment of technical readiness.
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures, safety, and GMP.

Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor of Science or Engineering required, Masters an asset

  • 12 years handson, related experience in lip/colour cosmetic products preferred
  • Strong lab bench skills and technical competency.
  • High proficiency in problemsolving skills.
  • Organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Prioritization and time management skills.
  • Team player with groups both inside and outside of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
