RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain good employee morale, communication, and teamwork
Understand OH&S safe work practices and procedures and follow them consistently
Provide leadership and aid in training junior employees
Provide feedback to supervisors and management on process improvements
Clean and maintain all equipment daily (Greasing, inspections)
Operating a variety of equipment (Excavators, Loader, Backhoes, Skidsteer, Roller, etc.)
Digging excavations, trenching for utilities, crossing/exposing utilities, offloading/loading materials, backfilling trenches, prepping for grade, spreading, and laying materials.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

3 to 5 years of experience is required in utility construction
Working around existing utilities is a MUST.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Have knowledge of OH&S regulations and knowledge of construction disciplines (knowledge of materials and methods required)
Attention to detail.
Good organizational and time management skills.
