Our Georgetown, ON location is currently seeking Dayshift assemblers.

CPI is looking for an Inventory Clerk to support or Logisitics operations.

  • 7:30am4:00pm (Monday-Friday)**
    Inventory Clerk Duties
  • Setup and perform cycle count daily from manually generated lists, or from ERP generated reports.
  • Perform on basis of ABC inventory classification.
  • Analyse and investigate discrepancies between physical count and system inventories.
  • Determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform adjustments as required; with proper approvals, and keep all relevant backups
  • Continually educate shop personal on proper inventory control methods to support accuracy and efficiencies.
  • Develop a scorecard that tracks accuracy weekly/monthly/quarterly
  • Recommend process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Involved in supporting disposition of nonconforming material.
  • Lead annual physical inventories.
  • Run reports to measure accuracy and highlight discrepancies by reconciling physical and ERP inventory.
  • Generate monthly Excess and obsolete report; Identify and isolate nonperforming inventories from regular moving inventory.
  • Assist warehouse personnel in bin location management.
  • Participate in all safety, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties/projects/reports assigned by warehouse team lead, that could include material handling, receiving, and packing.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing/warehousing environment
  • 13 years experience in an inventory or material handler position
  • Experience with inventory management an asset
  • Microsoft Office experience: Excel preferred.
  • Capable of multitasking, and working on your feet
